People deserve second chances.

Many well-meaning people have made mistakes, sometimes really harmful ones. Permanent scorn is not a sustainable response for when honest mistakes happen.

That said, there is s something a little incredulous about hearing "sorry, again."

If someone is apologizing to you for the same thing they've already apologized for, they might not actually be sorry.

And if they are legitimately sorry about it, again, it might be healthy to consider limiting your exposure to them.

If they truly value your relationship, they'll change the behavior.


How many chances people deserve in your life is for you to decide.
